18U Midget AAA Team Merger "North Fraser Nationals"

We are pleased to announce that Vancouver Minor Baseball Association, Burnaby Baseball Association and South Burnaby Baseball have entered into a Partnership for the upcoming 2017 and 2018 seasons for the 18U Midget AAA level.

Players born between 1999 and 2001 are eligible to play 18U baseball. The team will be known as "North Fraser Nationals" coached by John Wong from VMBA, with Assistant Coaches TBA.

Players wishing to try out for this team next season should:

  1. attend Midget winter training sessions starting Jan 8 @ Richmond Oval. Click here to view and register for Winter Training; and 
  2. register with their home association for Spring 2017 Midget division.  You can check your catchment here.

Players from out of catchment/area of all 3 associations:

  • Please inform your home association president/coordinator by email that you are trying out for this team.
  • Please also cc the email to VMBA President Mary McCann at flame_1010@hotmail.com
  • May register here at VMBA or one of BBA, SBB.

Midget 18U AAA is a single season (Spring & Summer combined) that may consist of 40 or more games, with a majority of the games being double headers on the weekends. In addition to games in the Lower Mainland, travel to Vancouver Island and the Interior will be required. Players must be committed to play from late March into mid-August (dependent on progress in Provincial, Westerns and National championships). Exact fee per player will be based on final roster numbers and an approved budget. Team home games will be split between each association's park.

15U Bantam AAA Team Merger "West Coast Cardinals"

Vancouver Minor, Coquitlam-Moody and Port Coquitlam are pleased to announce the merge of associations for the 2017 Bantam AAA season.  This team will be named the West Coast Cardinals.

Currently, coaching staff consists of Head Coach Luke Yam and Assistant Coach Joseph O'Krafka.

Bantam AA & AAA Winter training started Dec. 11th for all players interested in trying out this Spring 2017 for any of West Coast Bantam AAA, Vancouver Minor Bantam AA or Tri-City Bantam AA.

Each player wishing to try-out for West Coast Cardinals should register with their home association for Spring 2017.  You can check your catchment and find release info here.
